Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start numbering from something other than 1?
Yes -- set the "Start at" field to whatever number you want the first page to show, useful for documents that continue numbering from a previous file.
What's the difference between the two format options?
"1, 2, 3…" shows just the page number; "Page 1 of N" also shows the total page count, which is common in formal reports and printed documents.
Will the page numbers overlap with my existing content?
They're placed with a margin from the page edge, but if your document already has content very close to that edge, check the result before relying on it -- you can re-run with a different position if needed.
