Can I pixelate just part of an image?
This tool pixelates the whole image at once. For selective censoring, crop the area first with the Image Cropper, pixelate it, then combine as needed.
What block size should I use to hide a face?
A larger block size (30+) usually makes details like faces unrecognizable, though the right value depends on your image's resolution.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The effect is applied entirely in your browser using the Canvas API -- nothing is sent to a server.
