GPA / CGPA Calculator
The GPA / CGPA Calculator computes your weighted grade point average from a list of courses, each with its own grade points and credit hours -- the standard way GPA is calculated at most colleges and universities.
Add or remove courses freely; the weighted average recalculates instantly as you type.
How to Use the GPA / CGPA Calculator
- Open the GPA / CGPA Calculator.
- For each course, enter the grade points earned (e.g. on a 4.0 scale) and the credit hours.
- Click "+ Add Course" to add more rows, or "Remove" to delete one.
- Read your weighted GPA at the bottom.
Frequently Asked Questions
What grading scale does this use?
It works with whatever scale you enter grade points on -- commonly 4.0, but you can use any consistent numeric scale your institution uses.
Can I use this for CGPA across multiple semesters?
Yes -- just enter every course from every semester as its own row, and the tool will compute the overall weighted average (your CGPA) across all of them.
What happens if I leave a row blank?
Rows with a blank or invalid grade point or zero credit hours are simply ignored in the calculation, so you can add extra rows without breaking the result.
